Aims and objectives
- To raise awareness of the outcomes and lessons learnt from major child protection enquiries.
- To provide structured time for reflection, exploration and planning around child protection practices.
- To create a safe learning environment to enable participants to explore and become more in touch with aspects of their own practice and the practices of other professionals.
- To identify how dangerous families affect us in our day to day practices.
- To achieve awareness through a range of presentations, case studies, role plays, small and large group discussions.

- To recognise dangerousness when it occurs in a range of settings and work on strategies to challenge dangerous practices.
